Young Seryoga Nechaev grew up in Balashikha near Moscow in a troubled family: he had no father, his mother got together with an unpleasant man, and his brother turned into a real thug. Sergey himself is his friends and family’s only hope for a better life. One day, fate brings the young man together with the family of businessman Komarov, who helps him in many ways. When Komarov’s son, the spoiled rich kid Yegor, kills a man, Seryoga decides to take the blame for someone else’s crime. Nechaev is sentenced to many years in prison, and by the time he is released, he is already a grown man. Sergey hopes to become rich and finally begin the decent life he has always strived for. Unfortunately, circumstances turn against him, and he once again has to face the dangerous side of business and law enforcement agencies…
