But it later becomes clear that the mysterious device was the cause of death. However, it was not Garin who died, but an acquaintance of his. The scientist himself went abroad to seek help there. The greedy Garin intends to arrange financing with one of the European corporations in order to fulfill his dream of seizing power over the world.
