The main character of the Series is a girl named Maya, who witnesses horrifying events as a teenager. Her own father is murdered before her eyes. This causes the girl severe psychological trauma. After what happened, Maya’s mother develops a persecution complex, and she and her daughter begin constantly changing their place of residence. Maya is introverted by nature, and because of the constant moves, she is unable to connect with her peers at all. In a new city, Maya once again becomes a witness to criminal events that take place in the schoolyard. By fate, important evidence ends up in her hands, prompting the girl to begin her own investigation, as she is obsessed with detective stories due to her strong desire to find her father’s killer.
