In a small provincial town lives the charming Darya. Despite the modest nature of her job—she works as a postwoman, delivering letters and parcels along the streets of her hometown—the young woman has earned a reputation as a prominent, almost legendary figure. The secret of Darya’s popularity lies in her extraordinary kindness: she never leaves people in trouble and is always ready to help. At the same time, she has to cope with her own difficulties—particularly taking care of her immature father, who constantly gets himself into unpleasant situations. However, the heroine’s nature does not allow her to pass indifferently by someone else’s misfortune. Recently, mysterious incidents seem to be haunting the town. First, a grumpy lonely old man disappears without a trace, and then an elderly woman who enjoys gardening receives a parcel from some «well-wisher»: instead of harmless seeds, it contains something that looks similar but is capable of provoking a heart attack.
