Thirty-year-old artist Olga is going through a difficult period: creative stagnation and financial troubles push her to take an unexpected step—she gets a job as a nanny in the home of businessman Artamonov. A mutual attraction gradually develops between her and the master of the house, but the idyll proves deceptive. Tension reigns in the Artamonov household: the businessman’s wife, Galina, is struggling with a severe mental illness, and her actions increasingly alarm those around her. Olga finds an emotional connection in communicating with their daughter Anya—a gifted but withdrawn girl. The situation escalates when Galina falls into a coma after a fall. Anya firmly believes it was no accident. Olga faces a painful choice: stay on the sidelines or try to uncover what is happening. In the end, she decides to support the girl, and together they plan an escape. But putting this plan into action proves far more difficult than it initially seemed.
