The main character of the movie is a girl named Vika. She moved to Moscow from the provinces and settled in quite well there. She managed to enroll in a prestigious university and find love in the form of a young promising lawyer from a wealthy family. Soon she was supposed to marry him and therefore looked forward to a happy family life in complete prosperity, but it turned out that her hopes were not meant to come true. One day, Vika found out that her fiancé had taken a mistress, who was also Vika’s best friend. But this blow of fate was not the only one for the heroine—it turned out that she was pregnant as well. In the end, Vika packed her things and went to her parents, where she intended to start a new life.
