The main character, Pyotr Kratov, played by Maksim Drozd, was once an outstanding military surgeon who served in war zones. However, due to addiction, he lost his prestigious positions and now works as an ordinary paramedic in an ambulance service. Kratov now lives with his eldest son Viktor, the head of the department combating the illegal trafficking of prohibited substances. He managed to overcome his addiction and return to a normal life. However, new troubles soon begin in Kratov’s life. He is unwittingly drawn into dangerous events connected with the struggle for the city’s drug market and is forced to help the gang leader, which puts him in a difficult position, as his younger son is also involved with this gang.
