At the center of the plot of the Series «Insight» is the talented ophthalmologist Margarita Odintsova. Her life is turned upside down after one unsuccessful operation. A patient, the artist Kristina, loses her sight following the surgical procedure. Her husband Potap launches accusations of bribery against the doctor. Margarita does not understand the nature of the accusations, as the operation was performed under a state-funded quota. Soon it becomes clear that Rita’s son, Grisha, is involved. He took the money in an attempt to impress a girl from a wealthy family. The case goes to court. The doctor is suspended. And Odintsova’s attempts to fix everything result in even greater problems.
