The Series «Stone Collector» is set in the Leningrad Region. Here, near a village of Old Believers, the burned body of a man is found. Rumors spread online that the man died as a result of an ancient self-immolation ritual practiced by Old Believers in the 17th century. However, investigator Elena Rybkina does not believe these tales. She finds evidence that it was an ordinary murder. Her partner in the case is former Old Believer Major Yuri Panov.
