The Series «Rescuer» tells the story of EMERCOM captain Nikolai Nemov, who six years ago took part in a rescue operation when 11th-grade students became trapped in flooded mines. Only one boy died—the fiancé of the captain’s daughter, Dina. Years pass. The girl finds the strength to come to terms with the tragedy and finds new love. Her father comes to her wedding. On the eve of the celebration, a tragic accident occurs: the groom’s car crashes into a bus stop where Dina was waiting for the bus. Everyone considers the traffic accident an accident, but Nemov has a different opinion.
