Following the trail, they arrive at the «White Crow» clinic, where nervous disorders are treated. It is in this clinic that Asya Mayevskaya works, a young woman relentlessly followed by a scandalous reputation. The main heroine is convinced that this particular Asya is connected to the series of crimes. Maxim falls victim to Asya’s charms and begins to think that she is merely a victim in this situation, and that a maniac is hunting her. Wanting to get to the bottom of everything and expose the suspect, Masha decides to pretend to be a patient at the clinic. She simulates psychosis, after which she is admitted to Mayevskaya’s ward.
