The first season of the Ukrainian military Series «Under Military Law», which can be watched online in our internet cinema with free access, starting with any of the twelve episodes, tells about the work of a special department of the Kyiv military prosecutor’s office during the Great Patriotic War. The events of the Series begin in 1941. German occupiers are trying to break through to Kyiv. The situation in the city worsens every day, as Kyiv’s organized crime begins to cooperate with German saboteurs. Therefore, Nikolai Mirsky, the deputy chief military prosecutor of the Red Army, arrives from Moscow to establish a special department within the Kyiv military prosecutor’s office that will conduct investigations both on the front lines and in the city. This department includes Ivan Rokotov, the best investigator of the Kyiv military prosecutor’s office, and Svetlana Yelagina, a former investigator of the Dnipropetrovsk Criminal Investigation Department. At the same time, Mirsky conducts his own investigation, whose task is to uncover a spy organization that has been operating in Kyiv since the late 1930s.
