The first season of the Russian drama Series «Palm Sunday», available to watch online in our internet cinema with free access, tells, across eight episodes, the story of a young woman who wants to restore her mother’s good name, even if she has to go against influential people to do so. The Series begins when the talented ballerina Oksana Lepina becomes a victim of violence at the hands of Artur Nikitin, the grandson of a Politburo member. Artur’s grandfather decides to cover up the case. To do this, he bribes all the witnesses and frames the pregnant Oksana, sending her to prison. There, Oksana gives birth to a girl whom she names Pavla, and then dies. Twenty years later, Pavla gets a job in television and decides to clear her mother’s good name. However, this is far from easy, as all the participants in that case are now wealthy and influential people.
