No one has lost their keys, there are no signs of a break-in, and the homeowners have an ironclad alibi. Soon, another crime takes place in Nilovsk: former convict Andrey Plakhov is murdered, while his fiancée Lyuba narrowly avoids becoming the next victim. Against the backdrop of the investigation, the Selivanovs’ personal problems also intensify: Viktor resumes communicating with Veronika, who recently gave birth to a son.
