The first season of the Soviet dramatic mini-Series «Two Captains», which can be watched online in our internet cinema with free access, beginning with any of its six episodes, is an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Veniamin Kaverin. In childhood, Sasha Grigoryev and his friend Petka found a bag containing letters from an unknown man, which told of a missing expedition. After studying the letters, Sasha firmly decided what he wanted to become. Later, he meets a girl named Katya Tatarinova and realizes that those letters belonged to her father, a famous captain. Tatarinov’s cousin Nikolai Antonovich is responsible for his death, but Sasha will not be able to prove it until he retraces the route of Tatarinov’s expedition himself.
