One day, hurrying home to her husband and daughter, Marina hits a woman and drives away from the accident scene in a panic. The victim turns out to be the wife of renowned doctor Gleb Zavadskiy, and a witness’s testimony decides the outcome of the case—Marina is sentenced to six years in a penal colony.
