The head of a provincial perfume manufacturing factory dies. New investors come to the company, and the factory’s employees are deeply concerned about their future. The main character of the Series, Natalya, works as the chief technologist, and she is unlikely to face dismissal; moreover, she may soon become the company’s new head. But her joy is short-lived, as at a meeting with the investors she meets another candidate for the position—young and ambitious Ilya Klimov from Moscow.
