The Federal Security Service has long been interested in the activities of an influential gang whose members wreak complete havoc. The gang is led by the crime boss Kuba—cruel, principled, yet fair in his own way, and endlessly devoted to his family. A young man named Oleg Rezvov, who has already served time on false charges, then served in the army, and finally joined the ranks of the Federal Security Service, infiltrates the gang undercover. In the name of duty, he must give up his usual life and temporarily become one of the gang members. But besides dangerous adventures, Rezvov faces another grueling ordeal—he manages to fall in love with the gang leader’s daughter.
