The main character of the Series «Burning Bridges Behind Her» is a modern young woman named Anna, who lives for today. Her no longer young father tries to instill in her an understanding of the value of family, but this does not evoke any response from her. Anna’s mother was a scout in the Soviet army. One day, while going through her archives, Anna’s father inadvertently learns a secret, but does not want to reveal all his cards to his daughter. He only hints that their family has a serious enemy to beware of. Through an acquaintance, the father manages to obtain certain documents concerning his wife’s last mission. But as soon as they fall into his hands, he is killed and the documents disappear. Now Anna is also under threat.
