The story begins when a young woman named Masha ends up at a police station, where she is brought in along with a group of homeless people. However, she does not look like a vagrant at all, and she is also wearing a very expensive ring on her finger. But Masha remembers nothing about herself or how she ended up on the street. Soon, the young woman is identified, but official records indicate that she died in a fire long ago and was buried. The police take on the case, determined to get to the bottom of what is clearly a criminal scheme.
