Researcher Nina chose a rather uncommon occupation for a modern young woman—botany. The amazing world of plants has almost replaced her friends and family. After losing her job at the botanical garden, Nina agrees to take the spot of gardener in a magnificent estate park inherited by wealthy businessman Vladimir Shelekhov, a descendant of a princely family. His grounds, revived through Nina’s care, attract the attention of tourists and a mysterious killer who first murders the estate owner and then his son. Nina tries to identify the source of the threat hanging over the Shelekhov family and find out how her predecessor, the gardener, is connected to this secret. She must complete the investigation before Shelekhov’s younger son Andrei, whom she has come to love, ends up on the list of victims.
