Lyubov and Konstantin’s family life is falling apart after the loss of their child. Crushed by grief, Lyuba grows distant from her husband, whom her sister Nina has already set her sights on. Meanwhile, Kostya himself tries to fill the void with a reckless fling with his colleague. He regrets the affair, but it is too late: the rejected Nina finds out about it, dreaming of destroying her sister’s marriage.
