We present to your attention the four-episode war drama movie «One Hundred Days of Freedom», which you can watch online on our website. At the center of the plot is an elderly man, Pyotr Avdeich Barashkov. He spent 10 years in labor camps for «anti-Soviet» rhetoric and has recently returned to his native provincial town. Before his arrest, he worked as the chief engineer at a local factory, but now he was greeted by an empty house and the cold, suspicious looks of his neighbors. His wife died, unable to endure the separation from her husband, while his children left, fearing they would be repressed as relatives of an enemy of the people. The hero intended to start life anew, but the timing proved unfortunate—the Great Patriotic War began. German soldiers entered the town and started looking for «their own people». Barashkov seemed to be a perfect fit for them, but despite the grievance his homeland had caused him, Pyotr Avdeich had no intention of betraying it...
