175 athletes take on a 100-meter course with six obstacles. At each stage, they must tear off glowing rings—if they fail to do so, they are not allowed to continue. The top ten from each qualifying day advance to the semifinals—70 athletes in total. Here, the course is paired, and the athletes compete in duels based on the “best versus worst” principle: first place against tenth, second against ninth, and so on. Whoever is the first to place a ring atop a sheer wall advances to the final. The 35 finalists take on a more challenging course of seven obstacles with a 7-minute time limit. The superfinal is a vertical race up a 26-meter tower consisting of four stages: a sheer wall, a horizontal climbing wall, monkey bars, and the final ascent. Whoever is the first to place a ring on the pedestal at the top wins 5 million rubles.
