The qualifying course of the fourth season is one of the most challenging in the project’s history. Seven obstacles test everything: speed, grip, coordination, and even the ability to swim against the clock. “Counter-Movement” opens the course: contestants must build up speed, grab a rope, and move against its motion. “Double Trap” requires precision: a rope, a horizontal bar on a reel, a suspended horizontal bar in a trap, and a ring jump. “Coffee Grinder” involves running across cones, sliding along a rail on a ring, and jumping for a glowing ring above the pool; if unsuccessful, contestants face an alternate route — the “Vertical Reel.” “Flying Safe” requires contestants to rotate octagons and the safe itself to obtain the ring. “Mad Hatter” is a game of chance: a large ring from one of two hats, a jump onto a hook, then a ring from the second hat. The course concludes with the “Underwater Tunnel”: swimming in a pool, two barriers, a valve with a rope, and a climb to the fifth ring.
