Domestic director Sergei Ginzburg («Falling Upward», «The Life and Adventures of Mishka Yaponchik», «Love-Carrot 3») has undertaken the filming of a historical Series with the intriguing title «To Kill Stalin», which we invite you to watch online. The Series was preceded by the project «The Son of the Father of Nations», which tells the story of Vasily Stalin’s life. This time, Ginzburg decided to tell the story of a conspiracy against the leader. The leading roles in the Series «To Kill Stalin» were played by Alexander Domogarov, Mikhail Porechenkov, Yekaterina Vilkova, and Pavel Trubiner.
The events take place during the Great Patriotic War. While Russian soldiers are doing everything they can to hold back the advance of German troops, the leaders of the Reich are planning an assassination attempt on Stalin. The task is assigned to officers of the «Abwehr»—a team called «Brandenburg-800». A fascist agent embedded in the Soviet army is also involved. However, the Ministry of State Security is not asleep either—its employees must prevent the assassination attempt.
