The first season of the Series takes place in the autumn of 1941. The Soviet army is barely holding back the German advance on Moscow. Fortunately, the early arrival of the Russian winter helps our troops, as the German soldiers were unprepared for its frosts. At this difficult time, the Reich decides to strike a devastating blow against the USSR—to organize an assassination attempt on Stalin himself. The mission is entrusted to the best officers of «Abwehr» from the «Brandenburg-800» unit and a secret German agent who had long been planted in the Soviet army. Despite the operation’s utmost secrecy, employees of the USSR Ministry of State Security learn of the Germans’ plans and mobilize all their forces to find the traitor and prevent the assassination attempt.
