In the second season of the detective-comedy Series "Deadly Force," there is a personnel change: Anatoly Dukalis returns to his former department, while two new recruits at once—Zhora Lyubimov and Max Virigin—are transferred to the department of Igor Plakhov and Vasya Rogov. Now our heroes serve at police headquarters, and their very first assignment in the new place forces them to demonstrate all their resourcefulness. An important foreign delegation arrives in St. Petersburg, interested in how effectively law enforcement fights organized crime. The cops have to put on an astonishing show to impress the distinguished guests. The performance goes smoothly until one of the foreigners is kidnapped. Vasya Rogov also faces a personal ordeal: in the interests of the case, he has to pretend to be schizophrenic when the police have no other lead in solving a murder within the walls of a psychiatric hospital. Meanwhile, Plakhov meets with his school friends, one of whom has chosen a life of crime.
