The final sixth season of the popular Series about warm-hearted cops, "Deadly Force," is marked by the journey of our heroes, Igor Plakhov and Vasya Rogov, to South Africa, where they are sent to find a missing Russian scientist, the discoverer of diamond mining spots. A professor’s friend asks them to find the vanished scientist, and the detectives fly to Africa, where a host of interesting and, at times, funny adventures await them. Equally vivid is the case involving the murder of one of St. Petersburg’s pimps. To establish the killer’s identity and arrest him, Plakhov has to travel to Narva, Estonia, accompanied by the zealous vice squad detective Uvarov, who turned to the homicide department for help. Uvarov assures the detectives that he personally knows the city’s prefect. The African escapade becomes Plakhov’s final case in the homicide department, where there is also a "changing of the guard": replacing the departed Lieutenant Colonel Shishkin is Max Virigin, who has also managed to work as the head of hotel security and investigate, together with his friends, the case of the murders of foreign admirers of easy Russian girls.
