The plot of the Russian melodramatic Series "Women’s Kingdom" tells of the changes that took place in the life of Oksana Nikitina, the successful head of a major Moscow advertising agency. Having taken her first steps on the professional path, Oksana realized that work was the most important thing in her life, while relationships with men could wait. Her managerial talent, combined with enviable perseverance, led to excellent results. Oksana has the prospect of continuing her work in London, where she will promote a prestigious English brand. At the same time, Oksana is involved with a married man, accepting the unenviable role of a mistress with no prospects of a proper marriage. Unexpectedly, her younger sister Alla presents Oksana with a shocking surprise: at the age of 16, the girl has managed to get pregnant by a casual lover, and it is too late for an abortion. The situation is further complicated by the fact that Oksana and Alla’s father—a long-distance sea captain and a man of strict moral principles—is due to return from a voyage soon. Imagining how their father will react to his underage daughter’s pregnancy, Alla asks Oksana to pass the child off as her own. This act puts Oksana’s career on the line, and she must decide what is more important to her: family or work.
