The main character of the Series «Godfather» is former military doctor Alyokhin. He is a very talented obstetrician. During the war in Kosovo, he worked in conflict zones. There, he became a godfather to hundreds of Albanian and Serbian children. However, now it is peacetime, and life is completely different. Alyokhin’s colleagues decide to conduct a scientific medical experiment, hoping that it will help them compete for the Nobel Prize. They must deliver the baby of a woman who is in a coma. Alyokhin agrees to take part in this dangerous experiment, but he is not interested in money or the chance to become famous. Above all, he thinks about how to save the child’s life.
