Former serviceman Yevgeny had expected something completely different from life by the time he reached his 40th birthday. Instead of a strong family, children, and an interesting job, he got constant quarrels, scandals, and a series of legal proceedings. When the conflict with his ex-wife reached its peak, Yevgeny decided to simply step aside. Left with nothing, he returns to the city of his childhood, where he inherited a small apartment on the outskirts from his mother. But here, in the provinces, an entirely different life awaits Yevgeny, in a house where he will become the only man among desperate and disillusioned women in need of support and a reliable friend.
