Lyudmila and her son Vladimir had always had a complicated relationship, full of conflicts, resentments, and misunderstandings. One day, tragedy strikes Vladimir: he gets into a car accident and dies. Before his death, the man confesses to his mother that he has an illegitimate child, to whom he wants to leave all his property as an inheritance. Vladimir asks Lyudmila to find his son at all costs and shares his final request with her: «Don’t lie». Thus, Lyudmila begins the search for her grandson and his mother, Vladimir’s former girlfriend. On her way to reuniting with the family she never knew existed, Lyudmila learns more and more new facts about Vladimir’s life and reconsiders their relationship.
