Ulyana is left alone with her children after her police officer husband is killed on duty. Her late husband’s former colleagues support the widow as best they can, but providing for two children is no easy task. To earn a steady income, Ulyana takes a job as a cook in the home of wealthy businessman Yegor Fomin.
He recently married Victoria, a pop diva from the capital. The new mistress of the house, who has not given up her star-like ways, begins terrorizing the mansion’s residents with her whims. Only the stern Ulyana can stand up to the brazen singer. However, she soon learns the true reason behind Victoria’s nervous behavior. In the capital, the young woman managed to cross dangerous people from the criminal underworld, and now her life is under threat.
