The first season of the Russian comedy-detective mini-Series «Koteyka», available to watch online in our internet cinema with free access, tells, across its four episodes, the story of a veterinarian who, by chance, has to become an amateur detective. Katerina Blagova is a veterinarian. She never thought she would become an amateur detective until one day police officer Igor Gorshkov appeared on the doorstep of her clinic. He had picked up a cat on the road and brought it to the clinic for an examination. Katerina’s professional eye quickly determines that the cat is a pet and that someone had tried to poison it. She soon learns that the cat’s owner is a pensioner named Arina, who lives in an apartment with a tenant named Vera. Katerina suspects that the tenant is trying to poison Arina in order to get the apartment. While she tries to prove it, Gorshkov encounters a similar crime, which later develops into an investigation into the murders committed by a serial strangler.
