The main character of the Series is Andrey Yermolov, a successful Moscow surgeon. His phenomenal diagnostic abilities helped him become the best in his field, but one day the renowned doctor’s entire life begins to fall apart. This happens after he is accused of causing a patient’s death. Yermolov tries to prove his innocence, but his colleagues turn their backs on him, and instead of offering support, his beloved girlfriend leaves Andrey. The hero decides to drown his troubles in a bottle, but this only worsens his situation. His friend, psychotherapist Sergey, throws Yermolov a lifeline. He takes him to a small provincial town where, in his opinion, Andrey will be able to recover and find the inner resources to move forward.
