The first season of the Ukrainian drama Series «In the Forests and on the Mountains», which can be watched online in our online cinema with free access, consists of twenty-four episodes and tells the story of a complicated love triangle. The Series begins in the middle of the nineteenth century. Merchant Potap Chapurin arrives at the fair in the town of Rozgov to sell tableware. The owner of flour mills, Maslennikov, also arrives there with his twenty-year-old son, Evgraf. Maslennikov buys a batch of tableware from Chapurin, and they head to an inn to celebrate the successful deal. Merchant Gavril Zaletov is also at the same inn. Knowing that Maslennikov is looking for a bride for his son, Zaletov suggests marrying Evgraf to his daughter Marya. Everyone likes this idea except Evgraf and Marya. The young people do not wish to marry the first person they meet. But fate has other plans. Evgraf and Marya meet by chance and fall in love with each other. It seems that there are no longer any obstacles to their marriage. However, everything becomes more complicated when Maslennikov himself wants to marry Marya.
